There’s nothing like those classic arcade games, that despite their simplicity are super addictive. We repeat the same basic moves over and over again to beat a level, and then do it all over again for the next level, and somehow it never gets old. We all know the old favorite Puzzle Bobble, one of the classic shooter + match 3 games. Well, this download, Frozen Bubble, is basically a copy of that game, except it takes place in a frozen world.
Just like in Puzzle Bobble, in Frozen Bubble, small different colored balls appear all clustered together, and they only disappear when you can match three like colors together. And that, of course, doesn’t happen by itself. You have to use a cannon from the bottom of the screen to shoot the different colored balls into the clusters of bubbles, trying to match 3 or more so they disappear.
Frozen Bubble is free and just as entertaining as the original Puzzle Bobble. Basically the only difference is that everything in this new game has a glacial feel to it, with icy looking bubbles, an igloo cannon and cute penguins giving you hints.
